Depart in the morning for visit Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of the ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Bangkok.  Here Thailand packages will see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and Wat Phra Keo, the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bangkok Airport for short flight to Chiang Mai.

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai and transfer to hotel for check in and then visit Wat Doi Suthep, tucked away in the mountains at 3,520 feet (1,056 meters). The temple is reached by a staircase with 290 steps, flanked by a NAGA balustrade on both sides. The monastery was built by King Gue-Na in 1383. The center is a big Chedi (spired Pagoda) which contains partial relics of Lord Buddha.
 

After the visit of Wat Doi Suthep, 8 day Thailand tour proceed to visit the most interesting places in Chiang Mai such as Wat Phra Singh with its famous Buddha image .

In the sixth day of 8 days in Thailand, breakfast at hotel, Drive from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai  route to Thaton, visit Chiang Dao cave, Wat thaton, to see the panoramic view.

 
Lunch at local restaurant.

Stop-visit at the Padong "long neck" village. Walk the short distance into the village and spend some time there also visiting the nearby Akha & Lahu tribes. You should arrive in the city of Chiang Rai beginning of the evening.
